Fellow Flower Person (2021)

I adore both traditional and contempory Metis fashion – combine that with my love of country western wear and ta da… my Fellow Flower Person vest! This vest is made with black leather I found on one of my many thrifting hunts for cloth and is lined with hand dyed black silk – equipped with an inside pocket, black wool and needle felted wool florals and snap buttons.

This vest was commissioned and is worn by Nathaniel Hilts of the Dead South. Nate is a fellow flower person of Metis ancestry and a two-time Juno award winner! Check out their music and watch the following video where me and my bestie, Brandy make a cameo!
