Exploring places like the ditches, I look for plant relatives. Were my ancestors once in relation to these plants while living on the land on the road allowance? Did they use them for medicine, food – or even colour?!

Natural dyeing and the exploration of colour is lifelong journey for me. I look forward to meeting new plants and researching our human connections to these plant relatives. I wonder what kind of exciting stories they may tell.
